That’s Level 0 and 2 on the Motivational Hierarchy.
Features are 0, because they don’t motivate at all. In fact, they should be negative, because they actually KILL sales by keeping prospects in left brain, where no decisions are made.
Every level on the Motivational Hierarchy is exponential.
Benefits are 22 = 4; barely moving prospects to action.
The next level is Results. 42 = 16.
Here’s an easy method to convert a benefit into a result: simply complete this sentence, “What this means to you is…”
The final level is Transformation.
It’s the super nova! 162 = 256.
Stop trying to sell million dollar clients. Instead, learn to paint the transformation that occurs when clients work with you.
Imagine million dollar clients closing themselves.
Help them to see what they will experience when they work with you… and they will literally sell themselves!
